Our Team

Gayle is a Colorado native with over 35 years of experience in the accounting profession, in both industry and public accounting. In 2017 she founded G Griggs CPA, Inc. with the goal of providing clients with personalized and comprehensive tax, accounting and planning/consulting services. Gayle enjoys cooking and being outdoors in her garden, riding a bike, hiking, fishing and occasionally on the golf course. Luckily, she does not hit the ball far enough to have to yell “fore!”

Conner graduated from CU Boulder in 2017 and went into a career in sports and entertainment partnership solutions. He changed career paths during the pandemic and came to work for Gayle in 2020. He has a master’s degree in accounting and is pursuing a CPA License. He has passed all four sections of the CPA Exam and is buttoning up some last requirements during this upcoming tax Season. Conner is happily married and has two dogs and a cat. He’s an avid Broncos fan and spends as much time as he can fishing in the running waters of the Rocky Mountains.

Jenny is an experienced office management professional with nearly two decades of leadership in the accounting industry. Her role is central to keeping both internal teams and more than a thousand tax clients supported, organized and on schedule – especially during the demands of tax season. In addition to her professional experience, Jenny is raising three children – a role that has strengthened many of the same skills she brings to her career every day: patience, multitasking, problem-solving, clear communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Doug began his career with Ernst & Young LLP, where he held various titles of increasing responsibility over a 13 year period, last serving in the role of Audit Senior Manager. After developing a strong foundation in accounting, financial reporting, and business acquisitions and divestitures, he continued his career in various roles in Accounting and Finance. He’s held roles as Chief Accounting Officer for publicly held upstream oil & gas exploration and development companies since 2006 including Venoco, Inc., Triangle Petroleum Corporation and PDC Energy, Inc. Doug retired in 2022 and now assists Gayle and Team on a part time basis where his significant prior experience complements the other team members. Doug enjoys golfing, cycling, skiing and fly fishing when he’s not helping Gayle.
